Day by day itinerary
Day 1 — Casablanca — Arrival
Welcome at Mohammed V airport. Visit Hassan II mosque, the Corniche and Art Deco districts. Dinner and overnight in Casablanca.
Day 2 — Casablanca → Rabat → Chefchaouen
Half-day visit of Rabat: Hassan Tower, Mohammed V Mausoleum, Kasbah des Oudayas. Afternoon road to Chefchaouen.
Day 3 — Chefchaouen — Medina & Blue Alleys
Free day to get lost in the blue alleys of Chefchaouen. Spanish Mosque, Outa el Hammam square, craft markets.
Day 4 — Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Fès
Route to Fès with a stop at Volubilis, a UNESCO-listed Roman archaeological site. Arrival in Fès and first discovery of the Fès el-Bali quarter.
Day 5 — Fes — Full day visit
Full day with local guide: Chouara tanneries, Bou Inania medersa, potters' quarter, craft souks, Nejjarine fountain.
Day 6 — Fès → Ifrane → Merzouga (desert)
Long road to the desert via Ifrane (Morocco's little Switzerland) and Midelt. Arrival in Merzouga facing the Erg Chebbi dunes. Traditional dinner at the luxury camp.
Day 7 — Merzouga — Desert & Sunrise
Camel ride to watch the sunrise over the dunes. Free day: quad biking, sandboarding, visit Khamlia Gnaoua village. Night under the stars.
Day 8 — Merzouga → Dades Gorges
Sunrise over the dunes. Road to the Dades Gorges via the Route of Kasbahs. Night in the Valley of Roses.
Day 9 — Dades Gorges → Fint Oasis → Ouarzazate
Road to Ouarzazate via the secret Fint Oasis. Visit to Ouarzazate, the African capital of cinema.
Day 10 — Ouarzazate → Ait Benhaddou → Marrakech
Visit to the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Return road to Marrakech via the Tichka Pass.
Day 11 — Marrakech — Medina & Souks
Discovery of Marrakech's medina: Jemaa el-Fna square, souks, Ben Youssef Medersa, Majorelle Gardens.
Day 12 — Marrakech — Free Day
Free day to explore Marrakech at your own pace: hammam, shopping in the souks, optional excursion to the Ourika Valley.
Day 13 — Marrakech → Taghazout
Coastal road to Taghazout, a surfers' village on the Atlantic. Ocean sunset.
Day 14 — Taghazout — Beaches & Surf
Free day in Taghazout: surf (lessons available), Anchor Point and Hash Point beaches, local market.
Day 15 — Taghazout → Essaouira
Coastal road to Essaouira, city of the trade winds. Visit the UNESCO medina, fishing port and art galleries.
Day 16 — Essaouira → Casablanca
Free morning in Essaouira. Return road to Casablanca. Last night in the white city.
Day 17 — Casablanca — Departure

Yes. This tour can be cancelled free of charge up to 48 hours before departure. Beyond that, fees may apply depending on already-committed services (accommodation, guides). Cancellations for force majeure (illness, extreme weather) are reviewed case by case and in most cases lead to a full refund or rescheduling without penalty.
What is included in the price?

What should I bring on the day of departure?
Season-appropriate clothing (light in summer, layered in spring/autumn, a down jacket for evenings in winter), comfortable closed shoes, a cap or hat, sunscreen, and extra water if you wish. For nights in a bivouac, a light sleeping bag is useful but not mandatory (we provide blankets and pillows). Your guide will send the exact list 48h before departure.
When is the best time of year for this tour?
This tour runs all year, with seasonal nuances. March to May and September to November offer the mildest temperatures and ideal light for photography. Summer (June-August) is very hot in the south and desert but pleasant at altitude. Winter (December-February) is perfect for snowy High Atlas landscapes and starry desert nights.
How does payment work?
